Johanna Lyon; cheeky, soul-bearing grub is an actor and cabaret comedian dedicated to laughing with others. After graduating with her Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in acting from USQ, she undertook further study (honours) to devise and develop new work.
More recently Jo premiered her second full-length solo cabaret, ''Borishiva: Bad to the Bone" in the 2022 Festival Circuit to punter and critical acclaim. This oddball is most interested in discussing and unpacking why humans do what we do concerning love and discrimination. She aims to achieve connection between strangers within her work.

Jo’s goals for the future include her work in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, to work with mentors from the comedy and theatre industry, to produce comedy on film and to continue making people piss themselves.

She's there when you close your eyes to go to sleep at night, she forms all your dreaded disastrous dreams, basically she's like sexy-evil Sandman with a knack for turning those fears into hate.

Borishkiva has been whispering in the ears of ill-adjusted world leaders for centuries ensuring an impressive fear to hate ratio and resulting in some of humanities lowest points. Flip through a history book some-time, her K.P.I’s (Kills per injustice) are off the charts.
But when Borishkiva falls for a particular Irish Rock-star with debilitating glucoma the enevitable societal collapse of the human race doesn’t look so set in stone. Can Love truly beat Hate? Or will she be kicked to the contemptible curb by human-kind...ness? Borishkiva is sure to entertain either way.
